Report a translation problem
I doubt it's blender not being able to handle a big file. The issue would either be your computer not being bale to handle it (Which I doubt) or it just doesn't like that file format. I would try converting them to a format that Blender plays with better. To be honest, I have never even heard of that file format.
If the models are ripped from games then their size will not be an issue.
Game assets are low poly(10's of thousands of polygons) and won't push Blender in the slightest. Blender is capable of creating the high poly models(millions of polygons) from which these low poly game assets are made.
If you all talking about size as in how tall etc the model is then this is not a concern, this is just "scale" (a set of three numeric values, one for each dimensional axis) that can be adjusted easily in both game engines and Blender meaning the model could be 1cm high or 100m high and essentially still be the exact same thing.
