HELP ! BLANK WHEN RENDER
Hello, I just started composting,
my main shape is a plane but extruded...The thing is when I extrude it a weird blank shape appear in the middle of my EXTRUDED PLANE. I'll share some image to help you guys to find the problem. Thats really anoying because when i render my thing (it shoulkd be a long corridor) a blank shape (that don't even render) is in the middle of my render : no noise, no light, no texture ! (I CANT DELETE OR EVEN SELECT IT)
PLEASE HELP !

The grey uniform thing in the middle obviously is simply the scene background color which can be seen because your corridor isn't closed off at the end. If that's not what you mean, please specify.

No, i shared the image where i show that the corridor is closed ! But its right in the middle of the shape , not at the end !

Can you post a link to your file(dropbox or similar with no sign-up) so one of us can take a look, it will be much faster?

I looked at your images. The corridor is definitely not closed (in the second and third image). You also said you extruded a plane. Which also means it is not closed at one end. Maybe you are pointing your camera at the wrong end of the corridor.

I agree with these guys, what you are seeing is the background color, because to the camera, there is no face at the end of your hallway.

Somehow ending up with a hole in one end of your mesh seems to be the most likely explanation.

But assuming you are correct and you don't have a hole there, then a couple other causes might be:

1.
Your camera view distance settings are too low. This is probably the issue if your mesh is properly closed. I'm going to edit in a screenshot or two and show you what I mean.

Okay, here is a demonstration of the clipping. I have a simple cube with blue sides and a red wall at the end of the 'hallway'. Then I just took a screenshot both before and after messing with the camera clipping settings. EDIT: Yes, I didn't render these, but the effect will be exactly the same in the render.

See how the red wall disappears when I turned down the clipping end point?

All the information you need to double check that in your own file is in my screenshots. Might have to view them in fullscreen. Select camera then go to the tab (shown in my shots) and play with the camera clipping end point.

2.
Your normals are backwards (for your purposes) and Blender's render settings are setup such that the backfaces don't get rendered. I don't even know for sure that you can turn off backfaces in the render settings, I'm just assuming that would likely be an option somewhere that might've mistakenly been changed. It is probably the camera clipping (or the hole in your mesh) but if not, this is something else to look into.
