mat files
ive been extracting life is stanrge 2 files and they eyes are mat files and i can seem to get them into blender is there a way to do it or convert the file

i did as you said and it saids it uses ch_mt_dan01_eye01 and that a mat file, it also wont load the eye textures in umodel either, i wish i could find a solution cause i have just been turning the heads so you can see the eyes or sun glasses
There is a blank brown eye texture somewhere, I think it's in a folder called generic or something, with a load of other masks for shader effects on the eyes. The only issue is you'll need to UV edit the eyeball to line up the iris and sclera in blender

if the game is modded a lot you can check online for any import/export addons that can read that format.

Hi there, I assume you're using umodel. Don't bother with the materials, focus on the respective texture files, they're what you need. Use M when viewing the material to see which textures it is using.

this is my first time using blender, i got the files and i see what you mean how i have to align them, its over his face but i need to watcha tutorial on how to use uv editor cause im just screwing evveryting lol
