Start more than one Blender instance?
Is it possible to two instances of Blender that have been installed through Steam? I sometime have a reference model open in Blender on one screen and then work in another instance of Blender, I do so to avoid getting other creators work mixed into my own work by importing or adding models to my work file.

Start your first session using the Steam client library. Once the Blender Icon appears on the task Bar for that session, Right Click it and select Blender. You can open as many sessions as you need doing this process.

Thank you, I was so old school that I just did try to start it through the icon on the desktop, that worked very well.

Add a Blender shortcut to the task bar from the blender.exe file & you can open as many instances as you want AND not have to start Blender via Steam (take note all those that don't want it to auto-update).
