Exporting To PMD

So I'm not super familiar with the program but I have a few things down, my main problem is that when I try to export a model, nothing comes up. I tried Ctrl and left click but nothing. I tried right clicking and a piece of the model was highlighted yellow(Left clicking was highlighted Orange.) I exported again and the yellow piece was there in the PMD editor. So How do I fulley Hightlight the model yellow?

I though the new standard was PMX.
