How to reset everything?
Hi. I am new to blender and type fast so I have a bad habit of clicking wrong keyborad buttons. I've somehow managed to set extrude to reverse when pulling out.

How do I undo this action? When I drag up it drags it down instead.

I keep resetting to default layout settings but it never helps.

To reset blender back to factory setting (meaning all except default plugins will be turned off and all reconfigured keys will the reset) use the File - Load Factory Settings function.

I click that often. But everytime I load my file it doesn't fix it. When I extrude wherever I am pointing is reversed.

Like, right now it is very hard to extrude. The extrude is going in all directions either reversed or insanely fast. I think I have a shortcut on and I factory reset doesn't fix it.

Check your global transformation near the layers icon ,Is it set to Global or not if it is something else it may not works like general case.

Did you turn on Snap function ? it is possible if you turned it on to move at the incredible length.
Try "Shift+Tab" and see it.

Another thing if this is a session you're loading, is when you do the File Open, in the bottom left of the file crowser, before you click open, uncheck Load UI. The session information is embedded in the blend file and may be changing things when you open the file. Unchecking Load UI will stop that and open your session using the configuration you have.
