Change the radius of a circle exactly
Hello everyone,

Currently I´m creating in blender a model which needs a lot of high precision.

So my question is: Can I change the radius (or diameter) of a circle to a exact number? For example 2cm?
I know I can simply do that with a new circle by shift + A --> circle --> cange the diameter in the settings.
But is there a way to do that with an existing circle aswell?

I´m already working with the metric scale and NOT with blender units.

Make sure you have measurements set to Metric, as you have done, then when you spawn or select the circle you should be able to set the diameter to 2cm, exactly.

this is how i would do it, make the circle flat so u can have topview enabled make sure the origin point is in the middle. put the cursor on origon point and spawn a cube of 2cm, select all in edit mode, and scale untill ur circle is about 2cm. it's not exact u could do it by math but if your circle is 1.245 it get kinda hard and dificult.

Sorry Scre, but why? I think it's just this simple...

oww i see now i was always thinking why isn't that here, but u need to be in object mode to be able to do that.

this will speed up my stuff so much thanks !

Yup, and as soon as you've made your changes in Object mode, Just select everything and do an Apply (Ctrl+A) Location, Rotation and Scale to make sure everything is scaled rotated and scaled to the the same specs.
