Is ZBrush easier to use than this?
As the title says what about Cinema 4D?

Blender is just too difficult.

Everything is difficult if you not used it before. -- But if you learn sculpting in Blender is easy and free else even ZBrush, 3DCoat, Sculptris, Dilay, Mudbox and so on needs time to learn basics and advantages techniques.

^ Can ZBrush also do 3D modeling like Blender? I am mainly doing low poly modeling

ZBrush is a sculpting and painting program. With the ZModeler addon, I believe you can actually model with it, but I think it is mesh only, I don't think you can add bones (Really don't know, I haven't used it.)

But, Blender is a full blown 3D editing tool, it doesn't carry a 800 dollar price tag and you can do almost everything in it that you can do in ZModeller and the ZBrush sculpting tools.

All 3D modelling software carry a huge learning curve and it all boils down to user preference. For simple low poly work, stick with blender. As your skill improves and you move forward, then look at the high dollar programs to enhance your work flow.

I think Zbrush is equally as hard to learn as Blender, if not worse. I do prefer Blender's interface more than Zbrush's. Zbrush is actually a 2.5D (whatever the heck that means) program as well as being able to do the 3d work. I think that this 2.5D thing is responsible for a few "quirks" in the interface which are as irritating (or more) than any of Blender's UI quirks.

Zbrush is WAY better at sculpting than Blender is. I think Blender is very likely vastly better in all other areas however. I did watch a couple tutorial videos for doing basic modeling in Zbrush, but I was not impressed in the least. The basic box modeling in Zbrush looks very slow and unwieldly compared to doing it in Blender. If you are just doing low poly stuff, then I wouldn't even consider Zbrush.

Ok thanks I am just doing low poly so will stick with Blender.

BTW any software can be had for free but yeah

Depends, I've seen most things as a high poly sculpt in zbrush only to later be put into blender for retopologising. Pretty sure masterxeon1001 used zbrush then come over to blender, I tried it the interface is seriously confusing what makes it even more confusing everyone I found customised the UI and without their UI config you can't really follow tutorials like you can with blender.

I'd suggest watching people use it in youtube vids before you decide yes or no.

Pixologic also has a free sculpting program called Sculptris. It is very similar to zbrush. Blender was hard for me when I first started, but now it has gotten easier to use. You just need some time and practice.

i would use both zbrush and blender just takes time to get used to. workflow for me would be design something in blender import to zbrush add details you need then retopo in zbrush...zbrush make it easy to get a high poly model even hardsurface models insted of sitting there for hours on end geting rid of ngons and crap :D
