Shift+A only shows the add mesh menu, but no curves.
Ok so, I enabled the addons for extra meshes and extra curves, but now the Shift+A menu only shows the option to create new meshes, but no curves or bones.

I've disabled both addons but the problem remains.
Any ideas?

Make sure you're not in Edit mode.
