Where the hell are the bones and pose mode.
I'm trying to find out how to do pose mode and bones and all that crap, but every tutorial I watch are a year or more old. So can someone tell me where pose mode is, and how to put bones on my blender model.

My tutorials are usually SFM related, however I do a lot of stuff in Blender to a model before I export and compile the model. Most of my videos are draggy, slow and repetitive, but I do them that way so new users can follow along without getting lost. This video is on posing a model to create an animation that I'm going to add to the model for use in SFM. It goes through putting the model into Pose Mode, and setting up the keyframes for an animation.

You're more than welcome to watch it if you want. It's part of a playlist on how to create that butterfly in Blender, add materials, textures, and and animations then port it to SFM.

I just watched your video today, but I got confused real fast. Where is the pose mode. I saw you select it on that tab where objects and edit mode is but when I click that, I don't see pose mode. What am I doing wrong? I saw you select bones to go to pose mode, but where and how do I make bones.

You have to have the armature selected, Then Pose mode will appear there instead of the changes for mesh screens.
If you go through that entire serire and make the butterly (or something else) you'll get the hang of it. If your model doesn't have any bones, you can't get into pose mode, you have no bones.

I need my bones, I need them. This is an emergency. This is an emergency show. Okay, I'll try that.
