Hi Sanoy,

Sorry to hear you are having issues, would you be able to try something for me, so perhaps we can better understand the issue?

Right click the game in your Steam library, click properties. Click on the Local files tab and click Browse local files.

From here, try and open the OlliOlli2.exe file, does Windows throw an error popup? If so, what does it say?

Thanks,

Sam

Seems to work fine if I open it this way. This only happens if I open it via Steam.
Thanks for the quick respond, I really appreciate it!

I had the same problem. I can only run this game from the OlliOlli2 folder. GTX970, i7 4770, Win10. (Just to let you know)

I'm not able to launch the game either. Screen goes white upon launch with no sound, and game "not responding" in task manager. I've tried rebooting and verifying game files. Even tried running the .exe directly and as administrator. I should mention I can't kill the process and am forced to restart my pc as only the start menu works.

Specs: Windows10 64-bit, i7 4770, GTX 770, 16gigs of ram. Is there a log file i can look at to see what the error might be?

edit: Limited my framerate target to 120 and closed TeamViewer and game seems to work. Worked twice in a row. Reopened TeamViewer and the game wouldn't launch. I believe this software to be the culprit.

Same here, Windows 10 64bit, nVidia GTX660 / drivers 353.62. I think the Win10 + nvidia combo is the culprit, I have tons of issues with other games too :/ but it must be fixable since many games run fine.

No customizations whatsoever in the nvidia control panel, 1280x720, and OS is WindowsUpdate-d. Feel free to ask for more debug info.

No windows error message, and I don't know where to find logs, can you help?

EDIT: Contrarily to Spartan two posts above, I can't even launch the game from the game folder, it crashes too. Game is 100% unplayable for now.

Hi all,

Sorry to hear you're having these issues with Windows! We do have one quick thing to try, to hopefully get you in the game.

Right click the game in your Steam library > Properties > LOCAL FILES > Browse local files...
Right click the olliolli2.exe file > Properties > Compatibility > Turn on Run in Windows 7 compatibility mode > Attempt to run the game.

Hope this helps! Feel free to let us know if this worked for you or not!

Thanks,

Sam

Strange. I've got the same Win10 64bit + GTX 660 353.62. Game launches and runs perfectly with stable 60 fps in FullHD.

Sad :/ , could be an issue due to a specific Windows setting/config, then.

Hi Sam, thanks for your help. Unfortunately, that doesn't help, Olli2 still crashes instantly at startup. Any way to get more error logging or a stack trace?

Thanks. Sadly, this folder doesn't exist on my machine; I guess the game must crash before anything gets written to disk :/ . No olliolli2 either in Local and LocalLow.

I noticed that if I use my headphones, I cant launch it at all since the last patch, but if I use my external speakers I can launch the game via Steam without any problems.

Win8.1, Nvidia GTX 650, Intel i7-2600

SamSammeth (or other Olli2 devs), you don't seem to have much to fix these issues at the moment. Do you have plans to implement more crash logging / dumping, or should I just get a refund?
