Nosegrind to Laserflip possible?
Holding Right for a Nosegrind, I gotta do a half circle from Left -> Down -> Right for Laserflip.

Often I instead do a Heelflip or an entirely different trick.
Because I gotta move from holding Right to a half circle starting Left, the character jumps off the rail.

I've also tried using grind-switches to no avail.

Help?

Will that still count as a Nosegrind to Laserflip, granted I do the flip after the Tailgrind, of course.

make the transition to left slowly, then do the trick quickly, you will probably need a longer rail

yeah i deleted my comment after realizing, i think you need to do the circle to the left slowly enough that it doesnt register as a trick.

I got it. :) Thanks for the suggestions.
Turns out I gotta turn half circle to left wait a bit and then do the flip.

Exactly! When you go from holding the stick to rotating it, you have a small time window to complete your trick and release. So if you move the stick, you can hold it in a new position for a short time, then register a new trick quickly after.
