uplay stuck on "Looking for patches"

How do I fix this?

in my hdd and ssd was installed 2 uplays, i fix this just start him from other disk

Got this issue today. Running as admin still works. March 16th, 2020.

Hi there, for me starting as admin did not do the trick but flushing my DNS cash made uplay connect again. I hope this helps somebody else some day.

I tried flushing it and it still doesn't work... The 'Run as Administrator' part works but then I get a message like "Ubisoft service is unavailable, try later or switch to offline mode."
So I tried logging in offline mode but then the app says the first login must be online... but that was not my first login...
Any ideas?

Ok so I tried to get rid of any trace of uplay on my pc and then flushed my cache and installed it once again and oddly enough it worked this time. Maybe it was just like someone said earlier, there were 2 instances of uplay installed somehow so check thoroughly! Now it finally works for me.

Bump. Still works, updating your drivers will also fix this (August 4, 2020).
