The in game chat crashed your PC?
That's literally not possible. It's just text. In a box that doesn't change size. You can also click "ignore" on the spammers in the area chat. (right click their name)
Breakpoint melts peoples graphics cards, but it's a good game. The Division has more advanced build customization, making it a more true looter shooter while breakpoint is more like a open world shooter with gimmicky and superficial looter aspects.
The combat in Div 1 is smoother than Div 2. Div 2 has more content, but Div 1 has more than enough content to satisfy someone for 50 hours. Most people reach 200 hours before they complete the end game content, and then there's Dark Zone and other PvP or team options (survival, underground).
The aesthetics of Div 1 is widely regarded as the singular best atmosphere in any Ubisoft game ever.
