IS IT STILL GOOD IN 2025?

ANY THOUGHTS ABOUT THE GAME THIS NEW YEAR?

Same question I asked a while back. I played the demo for over 4 hours and just want to say that for a looter shooter almost a decade old, the game is still great. I had a lot of fun during those hours, although matchmaking in Asia can take a bit longer to find players unless you have someone to play with. However, I have no idea about the three new map expansions (DLC).

good atmosphere, good game but the looter shooter mechanics do dog it down, just play the story and side stuff then call it a day

The level 1-30 story gameplay is one of the best of the last 10 years.

The atmosphere and the detail of Christmas NYC is unmatched, and the added variable that is the Dark Zone just adds to the experience.

I absolutely recommend this game, and all its DLC.

The base game is great, for story, environment and concept. And when on sale, pickup Survival DLC, it just raises the stakes exponentially with hunger, thirst, freezing and blood poisoning added on a deadline. And search out "phone recordings" and "survival guides" and " echo reconstructions" they add so much to the lore of a game world.

Damn its actually unreal that its been almost a decade since this game came out. Feels like last week I was watching reviews on it trying to see what it was about in like 2017.
