Many times, it's just dark, but then other times have sections of it flashing red. I am assuming that is giving away where something important is happening.

I might go in naked just to look around. Cost me nothing to die to an NPC or player, if I have nothing of value on.
In fact dark zones place where you can get easiest way to get best gear. Other ways its spent many hours in grinding same gear on pve missions that you most likely cant finish with low gear, only if some team in top gear help you. And after you grind top gearthere nothing to do except pvp, where still hackers, gankers, bug users. Difference in top gear and gear you get after campain too much.

Well, it sounds like the only reason to get the best gear is to PvP. By the time I finish the majority of the PvE content, I will likely be ready to move on.
We will likely do some of the underground stuff, and West Pier stuff, and then move on.
It's been fun, and the story was great. I do think the game would have been better had the story side of the game been more like Mass Effect, but it is what it is, and I enjoyed it.

So, with the rest of the PvE stuff, I assume that's going to get repetitive pretty quickly, so we will move on and do another game. Probably Div2, and then a new game after that.

i like it pretty much,
also, as i mentioned before, there is no hackers. these guys who complaining about cheaters just cant get into proper builds for pvp.

This guy is either plain idiotic or doesnt know how to read at all

I been playing since right before 1.7.1 (currently, we are on 1.8.3 since 2018) and the cheater issue has never been that bad. Ubi dumped the game on 2018 and no longer provides support, besides the usual events (as everyone on earth that still plays this already knows).

And no, before you ask, im not new. I have 700h on this game ( https://ibb.co/xcc2nnG ); not that it matters anyways because I already assumed you are definitely slow by now.

If you cant tell the difference between getting into a pvp scenario with a ♥♥♥♥ build (or maybe an squishy one) versus a guy who has it optimized (lets say, meta striker 6P with full stacks) compared to a cheater that is literally tping around you and killing you instantly alongside 8 more players, maybe its time to rethink and start avoiding head concussions, taking more care of yourself and so on.

If you wanted to persuade OP, you can start by telling him that The Division is by no means an extraction shooter, and most likely he wont farm on the DZ (since it is not even a good way to farm); specially on the highest bracket since people just go there to mess around (+256 gs).

Instead you come here and try to jerk us around your ego "oh most players would consider me a cheater". Absolute npc take. No, you dumbass. Most players wouldnt give two figgs about your existence. Wake up, you arent living in fantasyland, nor you are the protagonist. If you are gonna review a product to someone else, do it properly at least. Hate to break it to you but you arent in 2016 anymore, the RPG format is well understood nowadays, and you got no argument whatsoever that can confidently deny the existence of cheaters, which means, not only denying video footage, my own ubisoft logs and reports, screenshots, all of the internet and so on; this points indeed to a very precise direction. You are indeed talking out of your ass. Dude, this makes you look like you mouthbreathe. Hopefully you will realize soon and leave the forums to those who can articulate.

This guy stated factual information.

"Hey, on a PVE-P arena (the DZ) there exists a possibility (slim depending on what time you play and when, but nonetheless it still exists) where I can get some random class gear (among other things, of course) but it would suck if I got killed by a cheater and most likely lose the loot I have been grinding for"

And your response is that they can farm 3 predefined class sets (I believe its sentry, striker and reclaimer) for a week, thus not getting what he meant at all in the first place. The game is dead for a reason lil bro sorry to burst your bubble https://steamcharts.com/app/365590

But yeah guys, no cheaters on DIv1 because this random no-name said so. Cause its not like you can open your browser and search for cheaters at all on random videos across the internet. Or even record it yourself. And it isnt even that the biggest content creators at the time (like MarcoStyle, Widdz...) had spoken about this topic and even recorded them countless times. In fact, you can open youtube (not you, we know you cant think at all, but "you" figuratively) and if you search "the division 1 cheater" there are guys LITERALLY explaining how to install said cheats, what to do with the DLLs and so on (from RPM, to no recoil, tping, kicking players out of the lobbies etc). Pathetic behaviour, and more so denying evidence without even trying to research.

Jesus, unreal how dumb you are.

It's too bad they didn't make PvP to where you don't lose your stuff. You only lose what you are trying to get out of the Dark Zone. While it would suck to lose what you just got, you aren't risking your best gear to cheaters every single time you go into the Dark Zone.

Also, I know this is not technically an extraction shooter, but there are a lot of similarities with the Dark Zone, and extraction shooters.

1. You insert, complete a goal, then get out.
2. You face both NPCs and other players.
3. Your goal is to get in, get loot and complete goals, then get out.
4. You risk all of your gear if you die.
5. Cheaters exist.

Again, one simple change, not losing the gear you go in with, would make the Dark Zone actually enjoyable for people like me, and those who hate cheaters.

Not to mention this. I am good at PvP, and I do like to test myself, challenge myself, and the best way to do that is go in under-equipped vs better equipped players who are more experienced. Not really an option when you are losing your gear every time you fail in this endeavor.

Are you on the spectrum by any chance (honest question)

You claim to have 1k hours and have never encountered a cheater? Pick your option:

A): You are blatantly lying because some fanboying that nobody here can understand (childish and nonsensical)
B): You dont seem to comprehend what is being written atm so you just spew words (blablaba noob ill mop the ground with you blablablabla)
C): You chew glass (as a hobby)

I have even seen people cheating on survival. Well documented on youtube via many sources too. All that is needed is that you move your fat ass and use google for a second. But using common sense is prolly too difficult for you.

Bro is non-ironically telling me he has 1000k hours and has never seen a cheater. My guy, all you need to do is enter DZ and look for a manhunt, and you will see how some random taps eleven guys at the same time. But I get it know, you are special for sure. We wouldnt understand. Different gaming chair.

Clearly build diff. Check the videos on the channel, dumbass.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NQv-zym6p1k

See? This ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jV-dyWUPr2A ) happens because build diff. Lmao. delusional bot.

Just put the fries on the bag and go lil bro. Do us a favour and keep playing on T2 hard. Enough clown emotes have been baby fed to you. Make sure you buy something nice.

There is that PVP you mention. It is part of a DLC. There is the "whole gamemode" and there is also skirmish. But lobbies tend to be dead and you will be pretty much stuck into a loading screen for half an hour trying to search for another players.

What you mention before is also included, is part of another DLC, survival. There is survival PvE and survival PvP. Make sure to queue into PVP and it should get you in relatively quickly (assuming you are either from US or EU less than 4 minutes). The loot isnt amazing but it is true this gamemode can be very fun (specially with friends) once you become used to the mechanics. It is kinda like a battle royale. You are infected and you can live up to 50 mins or so, but you can get more time by getting pills and antidotes. All the map is covered by a blizzard, so you cant see much at first. You will need to gear up (since you start with green equipament and a pistol) and get supplies that can help you (certain food can restore your HP, other increases the visibility of other loot etc). Most people rush some helicopter crash sites for early loot, then craft the mask (and the other one), craft abilities, and then get into the DZ; clean 1-2 landmarks and get the antivirals you need for the extraction. For that you will also need to craft a flare gun which can only be created using division tech (which is only on DZ landmarks). Once you call for the extraction, all the players will know you are extracting there and a hunter will be sent to hunt you down. You got plenty of time to get supplies and gear overall, give it a try. It is one of the most slept on gamemodes in ubi games, specially considering the importance of the genre on the coming years. Plenty of videos about it. Last thing, also a reminder, be wary that GE (global events) also apply onto the lobbies.

"Facepalm" Yes, you are clearly slow.

You are the one trying to prove a point against factual evidence (that has already been shown here). You cannot prove your point, ergo it isnt even remotely true (no sir, because "you said so" isnt a valid argument). You are the one that wants to prove something here, not me, dumbass.

Your point is that there arent cheaters but people who dont get the RPG shenanings of build & weapon variety. Already debunked. And your response was nothing at all.

That is all you have to contribute? Nothing at all? What a surprise. As if anyone could already have guessed. Now do as you promised and leave. You have nothing to say. Be a good boy.

On a serious note, I sincerely hope you are a kid and nothing more, because if you truly are an adult, it is indeed a very sad history; one that you dont even seem to be aware of.

These are not story rich lol

They have stories but they suck.

Wait. Um. May I ask why people still play this game instead of Div2? I'm not a hater as I have both games. But I thought Div2 is the superior game to play?? What's wrong with it? Sorry I'm super casual so I couldn't really tell.

People are afraid of newer things in general.

Both are very worthy if you are going to play with friends or family. Troubles come when you try to complete raids, guild content or PVP modes that are abandoned...
