How to get in Survival?

Ive played a lot of Division 2 and recently purchased Division so I can play the Survival mode. I cant figure out how to get into that mode. I though first you could just simply play that mode, but soon found out, there is no way to just start that one. Not at least being level 1 to 4 I havent found a way. Found a Hide out on the map, ran for my life to it, unlocked it and still no option for play Survival mode. That is all I am interested in on the first DIVISION. Is there a way or did I waste my money?

Sub post, I seem to have a drift on this game and only this game. My character likes to walk left. I have no drift on any other game.

You enter Survival mode at the Terminal. Which is attached to the Base of Operations. A requirement is player must have reached level 30, It is near the weapons dealer. You can choose either PvE or PvP. Its hard enough to manage the hunger, and thirst, and freezing, and blood poisoning, so start with the PvE at first. Many player die in the first 20 mins. but you can also last a couple hours to be strong enough to extract.

Thanks for the reply, guess I'll never get to play that deck I paid for. I don't really plan on putting that many hours into This first part of the game. The second was much better.

I would try to get yourself a lvl 30 character so you can play Survival. In my opinion it's the best piece of DLC Ubisoft ever released for anything. It's difficult, unforgiving, and insanely rewarding if you can complete a mission (which takes roughly an hour or two, depending).

I'm slowly getting there. Just wish it was as good as 2 was, the regular gameplay that is. I don't want to play survival tho. I got over 30 on both 2 and new York so I guess 3rd ti.e is the charm.

I'm able to play Survival and I'm only level 6. Definitely go to the Terminal and give it a try!

Were is the terminal located?

It is attached to the base of operations. There is a hallway between Medical wing and Security wing, just keep following it into a sublevel, and eventually you get to a subway station. The survival portal is on the right side once you enter the Terminal subway station hall. There are merchants there too, and also the entrance to the Undergound DLC

No problem! Ngl, when I first played D1 on Xbox years ago, I thought you had to be level 30 to play Survival too. I think they could have done a better job of making things clear.

thank you all for helping me find it. i cant seem to be able to play it, as it is just stuck in matchmaking for pvp and pve. just wanna play it so bad.

Use "Game finder" instead of using matchmaking. Finding a group in matchmaking is not easy. That will start in a few minutes even if it's just you.

All this time I thought Survival was just a PvP mode for the DZ and not turning the entire game into a survival game.

I also tried PvP and put me in within a few seconds. Does anyone know if PvP Survival is constant?

Are players constantly coming into the match? Or each each PvP match matchmaked with X amount of players from the start and once all players are dead that session ends?

Either way, I am glad this DLC is still playable. Never played and really looking forward to getting into it.
