Im farming DivisionTech with Daily & Weekly Missions. Daily Crates give you 25 each. The weekly one gives you 100. You can also go into the DarkZone for collecting DivisionTech.

Get 4 characters at lvl 30, then complete at least 3 of the 4 daily tasks each day. Doing that is 225 Div tech each day. Complete each characters weekly, that is 400 Div tech and if you grab the supply drop(Assuming you have the Season pass), that is another 400 Div tech, since each character gets a supply drop. Additionally, make sure you complete your shields. Each Shield box is 500 Div tech. Barring that, you can run West Side Piers, easy peasy, lemon squeezy area where you get 1 div tech for completing the challenges out there and then 3 for each time you get one of the crates. Easier than risking running the DZ and getting clapped. Not that you lose Div tech in the DZ.

Additional means to reduce the amount of div tech you need is to use your in game credits and resources to reroll your gear stats as close to max as you can, then you dont need to use as much div tech to max it out.

Store all your gear from your main character on other characters. Make sure your main isn't wearing any high gear either. The stash has to be empty of gear as well (mods excluded). That way vendor prices will lower down. Buy high end weapons and attachments in bulk and dismantle them. They'll give you a chance for div tech. Once money spent and all dismantled, go to the crafting bench and craft the 163gs Damascus pistol dismantle it for at least 1 tech each. If you have a ton of money saved up its a very efficient way. But you need a few characters with enough backpack storage to store all your gear. Weapons and mods will be around 80 to 100k each once you set up everything correctly.

Literally, if you have enough characters to store gear on, your MUCH better off spending 10 minutes each day and just running the dailies. Building Damascus is what I used to do and did only if I needed t oround out my div tech to get another upgrade. Though now, with the daily+weekly crates, there is no need to waste your mats doing this anymore. Just run dailies and weeklies. You will have more than enough div tech each day to get a few upgrades and before you know it, your max on a toon.

Save the materials for crafting attachments and mods you want. Make sure to buy the blueprints at the blueprint vendors and build em as you see fit.

Not everyone has or wants to level 3 characters to 30. Or when do the dailies and weeklies unlock?

They unlock at 30. Though, even if you dont have 4 characters to 30, 75 div tech a day from the dailies is easy as pie. THen id hit up the West Side Piers. Thats 3 div tech every like 15-20 minutes from the challenges, 1 from every little event you complete there and then any you get from deconstructing gear you get. I guess, running around the DZ can net you more, if you like running the risk of getting your face planted by rogues at any moment. As for the Damascus, I definitely did that to. Built and deconned ALOT of Damascus.

And sure, maybe everyone doesnt want to lvl 4 characters to 30, but it pays off greatly in the end. You can easily upgrade a full set of classified gear within a couple of days. Believe me lol, I know the tediousness of leveling characters through the campaign. I did it like 10x my self. Kept making and deleting characters. Then ive helped another guy, his kid and his wife with 4, 2 and 1 characters each. Never mind, I helped level 3 other people's characters, atleast 2 a piece. Soooo, yeah......

Daily missions are your best friend. This will give you 75 each day, which doesn't sound like much but it will add up if you really play them every day.... During Global Events the weekly missions are also interesting, but otherwise I think they are to time consuming.
IIRC global caches will also give you some and you get 500 for a shield cache - and that's pretty much it. I Never used anything else and have several builds @ 290 and a lot of max. lvl weapons. I don't think there's any need to level several characters up to lvl. 30
