What useable vehicles could be in the Division?
While vehicles might never be implemented in the game, I feel like The Division map (from what I've seen from the alpha) is fairly big to warrant them. Of course the streets, roads and alleys are cluttered with cars, waist high items for cover and debris, but wouldn't a government-sanctioned organization have the money to create vehicles to traverse areas quickly?

I was thinking the developers could at least add mini bikes or regular sized motorcycles for manuervability. Because even though, there's fast travel we are all going to be sprinting when not in combat.

There will be quick travel (outside of DZ) but no vehicle riding.

The map is pretty big from what I've seen and I'm sure they will add more areas as DLC or expansions.

Size is a relative thing though.

If there were easily accesable vehicles in the game world the map would suddenly feel much smaller to the players. The size of a game world can only be judged relative to the speed at which players can travel.

The division will not have any vehicles - that is confirmed and we really don't need to discuss that - which makes walking the only option to directly traverse the map of the game. Of course there is fast travel as well but when it comes to you yourself getting from A to B walking is what you are going to do.

In such an enviroment without verhicles a huge map like what we have seen in GTA5 or even DayZ becomes incredibly tedious and annoying to play on simply because the speed at which you are traversing the map feels super slow.

So yeah the map is big in the specific context of the game, it is big given the fact that verhicles aren't available and the map itself is very densly packed with stuff - subways, buildings to explore - it is however small in comparison to many other open world games.

Meh. Destiny had small sections as maps but still had vehicles.

You know, you're right. I've just been seeing a lot of alpha videos with players sprinting

According to the lore, there's no gas left - so it'd have to be electrical in nature.

A Tesla model S-P85 wouldn't be half bad.

Destiny is quite possibly the worst game I have ever played in my life, pray it never comes to PC.
