Accuracy and Stability, any explaination of what these actually do?
Stability seems to give me better recoil but what does accuracy do? what does most of the stuff do, there is no explaination, with and without accuracy nothing but dps seems to change for me.

The accuracy is the spread of the gun, how fast your reticle and bullet spread changes. The more accuracy the longer you can fire without your bullets becoming inaccurate.

Accuracy lowers the bullet spread. Better for weapons with automatic fire. Good for a DMR or sniper as well as it lowers the devation rate of shots at longer ranges.

Correct, accuracy affects the spread of your reticule, the cone of fire so to speak, and how quickly it returns to full accuracy when you stop firing. The stability affects the kick, how far the reticule jumps when you fire. First shot stability affects how hard the first round kicks, so it's extra-useful for single shot weapons or short bursts. Horizontal stability focuses on the side-to-side jump of your recoil, dampening that a little more than the more controllable straight-up recoil.

Thanks everyone, is there anywhere I can read the details of all this stuff?

I am more curious about - The difference between Stability, and Horizontal Stability.

I mean, yea sure Horizontal Stability is quite self-explainatory. But my question would be, does Stability includes Horizontal? Would it be Stability > Horizontal Stability performance wise?

I use Horizontal Stability on Light machine guns seems to help a lot.

Stability encompasses Recoil (Up pull when firing) and Drift (Left/Right pull when firing)

Horizontal stability lowers the Drift of a weapon. This actually can be useful for Sniper Rifles as well, because it reduces the Left-Right Sway you have while scoped in.

Yes, +Stability Influences both. However, i believe it is to a lesser degree then just something that is +Horizontal stability. Performance wise - that kinda depends on you... if you can compensate for the recoil - then horizontal stability wins out... if you can't then +stability is best.

Not really , it depends on the weapon you use. With a weapon that has a lot of general kickback , you'll want stability to soften it up , so you can aim easier , paired with accuracy and you get a semi auto-sniper rifle that you can spam headshots ( although , having a bolt action 50% crit chance sniper will probably still beat that , just out of sheer stopping power ).

While horizontal stability really is usefull on a couple of guns , mainly SMGs and LMGs , since they have a very wide horizontal spread when full auto. It's also pretty awesome if you want to run arround and spray mobs with a gun, it'll make you more accurate out of iron sight. I got a H-E Vector with crit chance and horizontal stability and I just run arround and full auto-headshot mobs , it's perfect for the 2 hard mode dailies or to kill mobs in the DZ. For challenge it's not that bad , but you usually run a lot less , so IMHO it's better to just have a Black Market AK74 or a Liberator or some other H-E assault rifle , since you'll be more under cover and you'll have time to aim , so having a more precise and stronger weapon makes it a lot easier.

I'd say , unlock the shooting range in your base and try out mods and combinations and keep what you feel is the best for your play style.
