HOWEVER, it could also be the new nvidia drivers, they pulled them for good reason.
As it literally could fry your computer (by forcing strange reboots untill your PSU gives out), or bluescreen windows before booting it up etc.
They released a more stable driver not long after, but its not much better, many people report windows issues and bluescreens still.
So, yeh, im still using old drivers and it happens maybe once or twice i get odd glitches similar to that.
I'm fairly certain its missing texture + shadows problem.
After that i went into the properties of the game and did the Verify Integriy of game cache. But when you do this make sure the uplay is also shut.

But it's 9/10 a driver issue, the moment you see spots / lines / flickering your card might be burning alive. Friend of mine did some construction/forgot to seriously un-dust his PC.
His GTX 980 TI got REKT
So far, no help on fixing it has been given, I need help fixing this and maybe suggestions to fix it
