People complain about performance with their mid-tier computers with the game as-is. If they created the exact same game of the exact same size with all of the bells and whistles initially shown there would have been even more hell because of the higher recommended specs.

And this is why stylized realism works better than realism. And this is why Blizzard makes so much money I try to stick to games with more stylized graphics to be honest

they use global illumination which is a 3d render mode that allows to calculate lights in a way it looks photorealistic. while it's available on 3d softwares, no game engine use it actually, cause it needs huge calculation from cpu/gpu to render.

once again the watch dogs syndrome, like, they show us a big tasty steak, at the end you get a can of dog's food.

There should be a law that forbid unrealistic e3 demos so people exactly knows what to expect.

As with Watch Dogs, this is being blown waaay out of proportion. The real game doesn't look any worse in comparison. Are there differences as to expected from a demo versus gold release? Yes, but there's no technical gap between the two.
