The Division- Can We Play This Game In Single Player In Offline Mode?

i am going to buy this game but there is internet problem so please tell me can i run this game in single player in offline mode after buying and Activating the game???

No, it's not because it's some sort of DRM or whatever, it's because the game is a co-op MMO.

Meaning it's designed to be played with a team, it CAN be played alone as in without a team, but it's still going to be in the online world.

No, you can't, because Ubisoft. This is what they want. They want always online with their DRM, this game is just the beginning. Mark my words, it won't be the last. Soon ALL of their games will be this way, they have stated in the past that is what they want. This is basically a trial run, see how many sheeple they can trick.

i have an internet issue aswel should be interesting to see how it handles, i expect i will play solo alot as i dont want others to suffer my drop during missions
depends how stable i can get my connection and how often it needs that live connection in singleplayer

as i just suffer with packet loss mainly most games will just give me a rubber band and let me carry on, even some online always games when playing solo have no issue, but others kick with the slightist hint of it going offline

There is no offline mode but you can play the whole game in singleplayer if you want.

i mean i don not have internet connection i always connet to steam with my phone ok. i brought far cry primal yesterday i install it on steam online after that i run steam in offline mode the game is working fine ... i am asking this as for the division can i play the division in offline mode like far cry primal???

You need internet to play the game.

NO. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PLAY UNLESS YOU ARE CONNECTED TO THEIR DRM AT ALL TIMES IN GAME.

I dont get that "always online" moaning, im fine with that. Mostly i play at home where i always have an internet connection at disposition.

When i leave for a longer trip and i take my laptop with me and i want to play, i get the hotel's wifi, or use my cellphone to thether the internet connection to my laptop.

So im fine with that, but maybe its just me

I just don't understand why some complain they have to play a game online. I mean whats the big deal about it? Everything else you do in your life pretty much revolves around online or internet connectivity in one way or another. Why is a game requiring online play only such a big deal?

Well thats a bummer, but it cannot be helped as Ubisoft aims towards the masses, and most have easy access to the internet.
