Gun Keeps Auto Firing none stope when using controller? DS4. Lit can't play the game with controller... just none stop shooting, i'm using a ps4 controller with input mapper or ds4 for windows, both give same results.

What's interesting is in game the buttons show as ps4 controller but flicker to xbox buttons when i press them?

I am using DS4, well just to give it a try really and I don't seem to have any issues at all. I wish I could help you but all I can say is I didnt temper with button settings/layout at all, just all defaults. Don't have the weird button flicker either, game shows them as PS4 buttons to me it even properly switches to keyboard if i want to.

I know one thing though, that is to always start DS4 first before starting a game, it's all i can come up with that might trigger a game to go weird on you

still doing it, can't find fix, it's driving me insane... all my other games run fine with controller.

im having the same problem

I am also having some trouble with the auto-firing while on wireless DS4. There's no problem when connected to USB port besides the flickering XBOX buttons.

this honestly is not a troll post don't be a fanboy the xbox 360 controller's so well designed that the two joysticks even have a slight difference in resistance so the left is better for moving and the right is better for aiming the xbox one controller's alright too I personally am waiting for the xbox elite controller, it's the same as a sony controller except you get to play games

maybe its a problem with how your computer is registring a controller and other devices with my computer i cant have my steam controller and my 360 one connected at the same time since they interupt each other and wont work unless i disable them by disabaling the Human interface controller assignd to them

You will need to have a DS4Windows and connect your DS4 exclusively. I think if you are using Windows 10, you will have some trouble connecting exclusively.

What you need to do is:

1. Make sure DS4Windows is running and 'Hide DS4 Controller' option is enabled.
2. Kill the explorer.exe process.
3. Connect controller.
4. Run explorer.exe

Use this batch file to make it easy:

--- Code Start ---
@echo off
taskkill /IM explorer.exe /f
echo Press any key after connecting your controller.
pause
start explorer.exe
--- Code END ---

If there's issues, 'Run as Admin' for both DS4Windows and the batch file.

never did it after launch, i just use ds4 without a emulator program now and it works fine.

u know u dont need ds4 just plug in the ps4 controller and it works for the division.It will actually show the ps4 buttons too not the xbox ones

its flickering cuz u dont need ds4 for the controller to work ds4 uses xbox buttons, plugging it in with usbwithout using ds4 shows ps4 buttons

i would use my 360 controller or my x1 controller but both broke.

That actually worked for me on windows 10 but do I actually have to do that everytime I play?!
