Can now be done in the Uplay client or you can go to the website and do it.
In the client , top right next to your name and level etc , when you move your mouse there a little down arrow appears.
Click that and then click account informattion. The page will then change to a page showing your username , email and a uplay account management website link.
Just click edit next to your username and your done. If you click the uplay management link it will take you to the uplay website where you can basically do the same thing.
Some older uplay games that you might have on your account prior the end of 2014 will still use whats called your legacy username , which would have been the original name you picked when you made your account.
This cant be changed as those older games are tied to that name. Now though all newer games will use whatever nickname you pick and that can be changed as often as you want using either of the ways I have mentioned , either in the uplay client or website.
Hope this helps :)
Except there will be only 8 character model heads to choose from with both genders. However you will not be able to name your own agent you created, It will be your Uplay username.
