Purple over Yellow

I was just excited after extracting a yellow sniper from DZ, then I check the stats..
and WTF my purple (unmodded) is much better.

I have not the screen but even perks are better -_-
Is that real ?

But yea, lots of High-End can actually be ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ than Purple.

Yea well. At least you got it as a loot. Already made and all that.
Imagine you grind Challenge mode for days, level up to 50, went to DZ6 and spend all your hard earned Pheonix Creds to get the blue prints. Spend a few more days to farm for High-End Division Tech, then go back to base, and craft a piece of ♥♥♥♥ that's even worse than your existing purple gear.

Now that's disappointment.

Mm yeah but you dont need Division Tech to creft right. You can use 5 green to craft blue and 5 blue to craft Yellow materials, so maybe farm the PVE map is faster. I dont know I guess. But still desappointing yes. Why not lower the yellow droprate and higher the stats, could be more ok for me..

please check the level of your weapon or gear
level 31 is always better then level 30

Dude you compare different guns. The DPS on gold item is much lower because is has less bullets in ammo magazine and it shots less bullets per minute, but is has better base damage.
Compare gold vs purple of the same item, then you'll see the difference.

some high end recipes require division tech, usually these are the recipes you see on the dark zone vendors in some of the higher zones.

High end crafting requires three gold division tech. These are ultra rare and if you want to farm three of them, expect to go farming in the DZ for hours and hours to be able to craft one item. You can not upgrade green DzT to blue, or blue to gold. You have to get a gold. Add to this the item you craft will 99% of the time be inferior to the one you have that did not require DzT.

Those are the facts, and it is what is killing this game, that and the rogue hackers.

Like he said, compare the same exact gun, not sniper rifle vs sniper rifle, also remember to strip all the mods too.

Stripping all mods for real comparison is really annoying ....
Should be a shortcut key for "compare without mods"

Sometimes in stash / DZ menu and other menus there is also no way to compare 2nd weapon... No button to change from 1st to 2nd weapon..
Ubisoft needs to fix a lot concerning stats menu/deconstruct function/ mark as for sale etc !

Crafting is broken. It's crazy that you have no idea what you're getting for such hard to get mats. At the very least items with Div Tech requirements should have fixed values and talents

Picked up my first gold div tech last night. Surprised me because I am level 29 dz level 44. I did not expect to see anything gold until level 30.

you can easily get a high roll on a purple item and a low roll on a gold item, RNG is a ♥♥♥♥♥ like that. but you are also comparing 2 different guns, M1A will always win out over an SRS A1 because of the mag size and reload speed.

SO rare I have 9 on one char and 6 on another? Yah sure it's rare, maybe you just have bad RNG luck?
