Voltage and clock aren't the only things that needs to match in memories.
Yes. They also were new.
I don't think the memory is the issue tho? as everything is normal according to my overlay. Except the CPU.
OK, I give up. Bye.
Because that's literally the only thing that changed. But the memory is acting normal while my CPU isn't. it didn't happen again yet, but it's still pretty weird.
I also forgot to check what was using my CPU
Check your CPU temps it could be overheating and thortteling you might have knoacked it loose a bit when sticking your new ram in if that is the case then just try replacing the thermal paste on your CPU cooler and resting it but if there ok then take the ram out try each stick on there own see if it works ok.
Hmmm okay. It did happen only 1 time today for like... 10 minutes and then it didn't happen again (yet)
When I cap my FPS at 30, I use ~60% of my CPU. When I uncap it and it hits 60, I hit 100% usage.
This is before today's patch, by the way.
Cap your FPS at 30 and see what happens.
Edit: This is also the only game where this happens. I duno why it eats CPU power like it does.
It didn't increase, but it wasn't as smooth. Somehow my system dedicated memory was so high during group play of the division. but it's fixed now with 16 Gigs. The CPU problem didn't happen again yet too.
