Vampiric build!
Got lots of vampire effect stuff (HP on kill) + self preserved on my SMG and heal station with 25k SP , it's so nice tanking mobs wondering why my friends are constantly in cover. Honestly would say give it a go, it's a bit meh in pvp without self preserved on a weapon but the Vector with 10.2k dmg - self preserved (crits heal for 3% of dmg dealt) 45% crit chance, 150% crit strike dmg, 60k hp and 35% mitigation from armor is a nice change of pace.

Still got 130k dps on my vector (I had to roll like 40 of these buggers to get my version of the perfect one with crit dmg and skills increase handling on top, like winning the lottery 4 times at once!)

HP on kill won't do you much good for challenge modes but in the DZ is the difference between life and death in my experience.

Roll with heal station(Revive) or insta heal(Revive), Security signature and your choice of 2ndary talent I like sticky bomb flash bang but thats me

Have fun see you in the DZ :D

I have a build with same idea, but slightly different.

My primary weapon Caduceus does 8500 damage, has 60 rounds magazine and has 793 ROF and 6% crit chace. However, I have around 45k skillpower, my pulse can boost criti chance by 40% and crit damage by 100%, my healing smart cover can boost my damage by 50%, and gives me additional damage mitigation of about 73%.

If I stay in a cover for 10 seconds, my base armor will give me a 65% damage mitigation. My glove has an additional crit chance of 13% against enemies not in cover.

Therefore, I can hide behind a cover, deploy smart cover (lifetime 21s, cooldown 20s, so it can always be there), and pulse enemies, and start shooting with around 180k DPS thanks to smart cover. Even with an assault rifle, pretty much every single bullet can land a critical hit, and self-preserve can allow me to tank the lv32 machinegunner at close range easily.

I do not have a self-preserve SMG b/c I have a DPS-Skillpower build, so I have only 1000 on stamina, which does not meet the self-preserve requirement. Caduceus has a permanent talent of self-preserve that activated without requirement, so that is why I use that.

BTW, I know I will get rekt super quick in DZ with this build due to I only have 30k HP, that is why I have never stepped in DZ:steamhappy:

Can anyone please tell me if there is a SMG with self-preserve as a permanent talent without attribution requirement? Thanks a lot

I've been looking at doing something similar. I like the idea of health on return builds. I'd like to see if I can build a viable one for Challenge mode stuffs.

I'd go with HP on crit instead of Kills and get max critchances

Get yourself a high end chestpiece with +45% armor while in cover, is sick for missions. I grabbed the M249 high end lmg and I'm running an electronics build with 32k power. Paper dps is only 72k but in missions I pop scanner and I can melt through the big guys in rikers w/o reloading. Use lots of stability mods.

I think my BM AK47 is better (16% armor damage, 8% crit, ?), but hearing the machinegun go boom! boom! boom! while unloading it nonstop is fun.

Wow, so self-preserve can appear as a no-requirement talent! Thanks a lot m8.

BTW, the one you are holding there is my dream gun

Yup Vectors self preserved activates 24/7 no matter what, I went up against L32 elites in the DZ last night with mine and was tanking fine, roll on reload to mitigate dmg, Talent that gives you 30%(i think) dmg reduction when killing on the move its great

Did swap out some of my HP on kill gear I'm down to 25% now but I have 52% exotic dmg resist (It's bloody OP!)
