Is skill power really needed?
Is it worth it to focus on skill power or just health and dps?

Its very easy to ignore skill power, I sure did until level 30.
When you get to late game you would be rather silly to ignore it since its pretty easy to get extremely good skill values alone side other stats.

i personally found in my build atleast that skill power aint that important unless you want the talents on some high end weapons i am just focusing on high dps and high health.

Skill power is the best stat, hands down.
Focusing mostly on it, I've gotten my mobile cover DMG reduction to 70%, which is 10% off Survivor Link, and a 50% damage boost.

Obviously you'll probably want to mix and match your stats, but a electronics focus is a pretty solid support teammate.

Yeah electronic is important for support, the offensive abilities don't benefit as much from it.

Skill Power boosts everything skill based. Without it, your team is lacking a key feature in this game that can give you guys a significant advantage. All skills including Healing, Buffs and Defensive all require skill power to be more powerful. Skill Power also reduces cooldowns on your skills so you can consistently use them in battle. I personally refuse to take anybody with low skill power as I find them useless in a team fight, my damage can equal theirs but I can't be the only on giving my teammates abilities all the time. You can easily get Skill Power on level 30 so you definitely should in my opinion.

isn't BFB capped at 250k.... I'm pushing 45k SP so im not sure where you've seen a 500k bomb from...

SP is great for support. Raises turret health (unfortunately not so much the dps) healing, shield and cover health/resist etc, scan crit dmg and rate.

If you run with players who play support/healer roles you dont really need SP as a dps. Unfortunately....

dunno i just pulled that 500k number out of my ass tbh
said it to make a point
that point being that skillpower does heavily increase direct dmg of offensive abilities like stickybomb / seeker mine, in comparison to the base dmg of those abilities when you have none / low Skillpower

Edit:
and you have to see it in correlation with the reduced cooldown on those abilities that skillpower gives you aswell ... a 250k sticky bomb on a 20sec cooldown vs a base 30k bomb with a 50s cooldown is a huge difference
(again i just made those numbers up ... but i guess you get my point)

there is a talent that explosions do 40% more damage when hitting multiple targets that with a crit proc ive gotten upwards of 560k sticky bomb hits.

this is my character with high skill power.

The Only sad part is sticky bomb in challange mode sucks ass >.> does like 2-3 bars of armor
compared to a firearms build that just drops a challange mob instantly
