Medical Wing Progression

So I think I screwed up. My virus level protection is at 2, and I need it to be 3 to continue doing the research missions. Last night I was pretty tired and meant to upgrade the hazmat unit for 400 points and accidentally upgraded intensive care for 400, leaving me with next to no medical credits. I did the available medical missions I could since then, leaving me at 160 credits; 40 away from the cheapest medical wing upgrade. The next story mission is a recommended level of 27 and I'm about halfway through level 21.

Can I redo old encoutners somehow? Is there some type of cooldown for medical missions or random encounter for missions? How did they not forsee a problem like this?

go back to hubs and use the map there, should open up more encounters.

I've went to every safehouse within range and they're only creating encounters that require a filter. Going back to an old map doesn't do anything.

Bump, this is a legitmate problem. Travelling to other player's worlds and doing medical missions doesn't do anything.

Progress in the story, you'll unlock missions that give you 500 medical credits.

I got into this panic before on my final medical wing upgrade. I have a level 3 filter but 2 missions left requires a level 4 filter. Than I unlock a new safe house and it spawn new medical mission that doesn't requires a filter. I am sure you can find new medical mission that does not requires filter.

There are a lot. You have just to unlock new safe houses & missions.

About virus scans missions... Suggestion: explore the area BEFORE activating the first scanner, search for the 2/3 of them and for the transmitter, map them and THEN activate the first scanner :) For me it's stupid, but the scanners are not "hidden", so you can map them and this make missions more easy.

nic when your virus level isn't up to requirements you die in about 15 seconds. theres no time to do any searching. I've searched every area up until the story mission that gives 500 medical credits and I've done the medical missions that don't require a mask. Either way I'm already up to level 27 so I'll just do the story mission. Pretty big design flaw but hey.

My suggestion is a generic one, supposing you have the right filter level for that mission...

I never had problems , maybe i just didnt gave a ♥♥♥♥

lol just do side missions, read the map at safehouses you get more encounters xD
and so you unlock virus easy as that

You guys don't undestand. I had unlocked all available virus missions via the board and done all of them I could without the mask.

I know how to view the ecounter board, I'm level 28. I've played a few hours. In any case I leveled far enough to do the big mission for the points.

I suppose just to warn newer players, get your virus protection up to level 3 before getting to Stuy and buying bigger upgrades for the medical wing, if you want to clear all side missions as you go along.
