Best assault rifle?

What do you think is the best assault rifle? I read the guide that was posted som days ago and I got the Assault: Tactical ACR. Got some kind of "balance" talent on it and it feels very stable and give me lot of hits. I think I killed a guy named Alex about 1 000 000 times with it. Poor guy.
Just wonder what assaul rifle you like, or if you have any tips about mods, gears, attachements etc to make it more powerful and how to get it.

The p416. Decent blend of stability and stopping power. Followed by one of the m4 variants due to the high ROF which gives it amazing damage out put.

Good luck finding one or the other that is worth a damn perk wise though as neither is a craftable.

Boss drop from Lexington Center Challenge mode (Larae Barett)

its also where i got my HE Socom M1A

my scavenge was around 144% at the time so.. not sure if that might help you but give it a shot

Yeah High End ACR or my fav AK with 18% armor damage is so sweet.

I've never seen any of these since High End weapons NEVER drop and the blueprints only change like once every 5 days. So stupid. I'll just have to stick with my crafted Black Market AK but it's so unfun never find anything new to play around with. I so agree with all of the whining about the loot in this game. I've seen a yellow weapon drop I think 3 times the entire time I've been playing the game.
