Major Problem!
Lately i've started having this weird problem where randomly my whole PC freezes and crashes while playing this game, the crash itself wouldnt be a problem, but the fact that everytime after the crash my PC wont go past BIOS screen and black screens before entering windows. only thing i could do to fix this is reinstall windows, which take time and also deletes all my gamefiles -_- anyone else ever experienced the same? and yeah, this whole sht only happens while playing division. my worries are that either my HDD/SSD or MOBO are faulty.

do you by any chance overclock your CPU?
I have not, my CPU and Both GPU's are at factory clocks!

Sounds like a heat issue to me. Run a monitor in the background while playing atleast that way after a crash you can either confirm or eliminate heat as a problem

CPUid is a good program to use to check your CPU temperature, and yeah that does sound like the issue you may be having there

Whatever it is I find it odd you have to reinstall Windows. Is your HD trashed after the craash?

Thing is if it went down to overheating and he tried to reboot he's gonna have issues getting past bios as the system hasn't cooked off. That's why I think it's heat

incompatible windows 10
heat might be, but why doesnt it crash in other heavy games? only while playing division :\

Do you get any errors on the post screen or the bios? I don't think this is temperature related-I believe is more of a hardware issue, I would start with restoring factory defaults in the bios and see if you can boot to Windows that way, then run some tests on the HDD, SSD to make sure they are fine-I am afraid you will have to do it by the process of elimination.

Don't know, TD is pretty hard on a system so maybe it's pushing you just the little bit over. Could be coincidence that maybe you have a fan that died and you've been playing TD more than anything else being a new game.

Like I said you might have a heat issue but until you run a monitor you won't know for sure. I would make sure all your fans are working though just to be sure
Thanks for the help, will try my best! my bet goes to faulty MOBO or Harddrive tho i still dont understand why it occurs while playing division and not in other games

Massive stated that a recent driver installation was causing issues so they downgraded the driver patch.
Pecata Apr 6, 2016 @ 2:09pm
If you are using nvidia card and are running any driver after 362.00, uninstall the video driver using DDU and install driver version 362.00-it's the last stable driver that doesn't create issues.

In what universe do you fix an overheating issue by reinstalling windows?

First thing that comes to mind is actually a driver issue, but that really depends on how the machine acts on boot. That "goes to black screen before entering windows" points to faulty video driver being loaded.

Try booting in safe mode ( http://www.digitalcitizen.life/4-ways-boot-safe-mode-windows-10 I would think number 3 is what you'll need) and see what happens (namely, if the screen goes black or not).
