So nobody else should feel the "need" to have proper FOV options even if it makes them sick?
With FOV it does not matter if it's in 1st or 3rd person view.
Other than the fact its designed for the craptastic rez of the TV screen connected to your game console rather than a wide screen PC monitor, ya no need.......
I say ground up in quotations because despite the claims otherwise, it's clear that it's just another console port.
Always got a kick out of people that claim third person games don't need a FOV slider, though.
Try running the game on 3 screens, and look how ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up everything on the side monitors are.
