Electronics/Skill power
Is it actually a big deal? Seems more worth it to stack firearms and stamina imo

Depends on your build

Electronics / Skill power as the name stats, affects your skill's power.

Take shield for example, the higher your skill power, the more health your shield's got.
So if you're going for the regular CoD experience, then stack Firearms and Stamina, if you like playing support, utilizing med station, heals, or flash stickies etc, then Electronics is rather essential.

I'll take your advice, seeing as you have 320 hours

Yeah, Shrapnel is right unfortunately. I mean There are some interesting things you can do with a high electronics build. Seen some people pull out ballistic shields with 500k+ health or set up smart cover that makes the team nearly unkillable, but in the end it is often more expedient to just kill everything with a well rounded mix of dps and stamina.

well im a high electronics build and i can solo everything except the powerplant because of the timer. granted i havent tried to solo it yet. with my purple AUG i do 105k crit headshots with my dps sheet saying 116k. also any team i run with just breezes through missions as their damage goes through the roof with me around as well. soooo

Actually dude, if you stack skill power with stamina you can out-compete DPS. It's all about your high-end gear stats, if you gear towards Scan duration and scan crit damage you can have 100% uptime. That is to say, you can have scan on all of the time with the huge crit chance and crit bonus that entails.

So your sheet DPS (the DPS it says you have, which is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ anyway - tip; use the shooting range to test your true DPS between builds) will be low but your actual DPS will be higher than if you just stacked DPS. With the added benefit that your skill power applies to your other skills as well, so you can fire off sticky bombs/sticky flash every 15 seconds as well as have a high DPS from scan. If you run this along with someone who went for a marksman crit damage build they can be buffed to hit for 1 million head shots pretty easily.

This is the combo that my fireteam (2 or 3 of us, not usually 4) use to run Lexington Challenge mode in 8 minutes and Lincoln tunnel in around 10. Dont rely on your sheet DPS, it'll lie to you and DPS isnt the only viable build.

u guys should try my build at dz (its only my build at dz) . my hp is only 37k but my skill power is about 56k . i tested it on my friend who have 86k hp with my sticky bom . my friend hp stil get 1/4 for the last bar. and i tested my friend again who have 77k hp . he died easily . somtime i can defeat 4 rogue easlily . but i always bring shield to protect myself

Electronics is fantastic if you play in a coordinated group. In that case having a player dedicated to support is a must.

Currently from what I see, Electronics build is viable only if you are in a group. I've got a 2nd character that is electronics build and its build in a way the skills cooldown very short and you can keep spamming skills. The skills I mostlly have it equip are stickybombs and first aid. I managed to get a number of my gears with stickybomb bonuses and it lets me most of them time do a heck of a dmg on groups of npcs or targets.

I carry a Carduceus too which is electronic skills oriented. One of the bonus there cuts 5% off your skill's cooldown every headshot u land. My other talents also add up to skill cooldowns which all in all helps let me spam skills to support my team.

no offense, but Im not trying any build that leaves me with 37k life, sounds very limiting- definitely a one shot build in the higher DZs
yep i can contest to that, i currently have about 38k health and a rouge one shoted me with an ak47.
I have a mix of purple and gold gear but my sheet dps is 149k with my liberator and abut the same for my vector. Had a midas as well and didn't like it. My question i guess is it possible to build an balanced build of all there that is competive in solo and DZ play?

What's bad about this game is that it requires a soul-crushing amount of time to make that build even close to feasible in the first place. If you lack in gear, then you are worthless. Any other game, the best gear would be great, but never required to perform or outperform.

I went (or tried to) with a full electronics spec in the beginning, and it was loads of fun, throwing out skills all the time and stuff...then I went online
Maybe when these incursions come out or higher events where exotic dmg is a thing bosses are weak to, the 'battle tech' will have his day, but for now - ya, I would just grab and smg and keep the trigger pulled mate

Im still kinda built with Electronics (115k DPS, 70k Health and 30k Skill power) and sadly, he is right. In PvE, its great when you CC/Heal/Support others with higher than normal skills and shorter cooldowns. But in the DZ, never bother going Rogue or even Hunting Rogues solo cause youll have a bad day. Youll hold your own good against the lvl 32 NPCs in there but youll get wrecked against other players.
That said, I think being specced into Electronic is the most fun in the game. Being DPS with Vector SMG is just -very- boring (at least for me) and im sure that Ubi's gonna nerf the SMGs at some point (that or buff other weapon types).
