- if you using non auto shotgun you can quicky build sentry call buff in 1 shot
- if using non auto shotgun always priorty on stability imho
-one is none almost always trigger with shotgun
For Damage: Sentry
For Utility: Lone Star
For Crowd Control: Predator's Mark
The 2 remaining pieces: If you go to the dark zone, always go 2 piece final measure. always.
1) If you're going for auto i would go for horizontal stability
2) optimal range because shotguns have the biggest falloff
3) you should use a weapon damage magazine, alternative would be fire rate for more dps
4) Predators Mark triggers the bleed effect after the second shot because it's calculated per pellet, also bleeding causes the victim to not be able to run + the talent Shrapnell can spread bleeding, makes it a good combo.
You build 1 stack per shot, it doesn't work per pellet i tested it just now.
While it does the most damage I think the Super 90 is best. It can hold 15 rounds (think 16 if you get 100% mag) and I can reload on they fly. That is something the SAGS 12 is missing.
I was thinking of doing a shotgun build but it's hard to do the trade off with some of the others. The issue with the shot gun is if you don't take them down than your relaoding and can be in trouble. I melted PC's in the DZ with them when they went rogue on extraction since they see my LMG and think I can't hit hard. Though in PvE I use it as a finisher or if they get to close to me or I'm needing to reload the M49.
As for the items I went for with my Super 90 is the high cap mags, anything to improve crit and damage.
thx for the correction, and you just give me an idea. status effect count as headshot, what if you combine it with weapon with reduce cooldown on headshot like cadecius.
Semi automatics benefit greatly from initial bullet stability, so I'd definitely take that with accuracy on the grip.
Obviously you want more range as (player's) shotguns damage drops off after like 7-8 meters. Try to get a range + either crit chance, crit damage, or weapon damage on the scope.
Higher RPM doesn't do much for slower guns (75) but can be useful for ones already above 150.
For a mag I'd recommend either + cap and either weapon damage or crit chance/crit damage, depending on your playstyle.
1) underbarrel mod - stability!
2) magazine - weapon damage + crit damage (with one is none)
3) optics - headshot damage + crit chance.
You can`t get 3 mark with sentry set by one accurate shotgun headshot after patch 1.2. If you play with shotgun your accuracy is very important. Ceep calm and aim to head.
