No CD Key supplied when purchased via Steam
So tonight I purchased Tom Clancy's Division via the steam store, after installing it and clicking play to launch it, it opened up the uPlay window, so I created an account. After account creation it asked for a CD key, so I spent the last two hours looking for one and how to find it, since it wasn't where it normally is. On top of that I did what the Steam FAQ stated: First it said since I purchased it online via the Steam store I wouldn't need one, then I verified my game cache and rebooted the Steam client then tried again, Still nothing. I've been scrambling on google trying to find an answer but haven't been able too, anyone have a similar problem/ know a solution?

Steam owners of The Division don't have serial keys even existing members that used them to have to activate game don't have them anymore it should be activated by automatic.

There are 3 things you could try to do and they are:

1. Reinstall uplay
2. Verify game cache
3. Or go to your game folder which you can get to by going to your library right click on game then click properties>Local Files>Browse Local Files and then delete in folder two files:
uplay_install.manifest and uplay_install.state
If after that doesn't work for you then I donno what might since last resort is contacting their support.

The Division should be directly linked to your Uplay account as an entitlement. Therefore, no key is needed or ever present in the exchange.

Have you verified the game files via Uplay or only via Steam?
