For instance, I have a firearms score of 3500. I have a 204 G36 blueprint that will give me a damage range of 9200 to 10.1k for any G36 that I craft. I understand that you cannot craft a showstopper. But, when you pick one up in the grind, its the same dynamic as if you were to actually craft one.
The same is true for weapon drops. Your firearms score will determine what the weapon damage will be when you get the item. It could fall anywhere within the range determined by your firearms score. If you increase your firearms score, the damage range for the showstopper will increase proportionately.
You could always grind another showstopper that has a higher damage roll. But, at the end of the day, whether you craft it or find it under the grind, your firearms score determines what the damage range is going to be and its up to the luck of the draw what that actual score will be.
I hope this helps.
There is no standardization like "I have a 3300 firearms score, so my weapon damage shoudl be x."
The showstopper is not all that great anyway. If you want a good shottie, go for the 204 or 229 SASG-12 and make sure it has Accuracy as one if its talents. It does not quite have the damage output of the Super 90 or 870's, but, its rate of fire and hanlding more than make up for it, especially with the Accurate talent.
A god roll SASG-12 IMO will have Accurate, Brutal or Destructive and Self Preserved or some other healing talent like Predatory or sustained.
I feel your pain... I have 909 hours played; 3 lvl 30 charcters, over 36K kills, and 287 missions completed in hard mode per Uplay statistics (not including dailies or challenging/heroic missions), and I have never seen a Caduceus, Midas, or any other HE weapon except one a couple months ago which was a worthless hungry hog. I've been farming Amherst trying to get a Caduceus to go with my Alphabridge set and I can't get one to drop for ♥♥♥♥. I've spped-ran that mission I bet 100+ times becuase folks say that's where they got it, but it won't drop for me. I felt like I won the lottery when the showstopper dropped. That's only the second named drop in over 909 hours of gamerplay. Pretty sad if u ask me...
