Trying to uninstall The Division

Hey guys. I'm trying to unstill this game so a friend of mine could hand me their gift version of the full game since i got it on the free weekend. But it says its still in my library. And i cant find the support page since i deleted it from my library. Any advice?

I would have thought he could still gift it to you. The gift will just update your ownership rights.

I'm assuming you've already tried to uninstall it through Steam. If this doesn't work then simply go to the Windows menu and type Uninstall a program. Then just find the Division and uninstall it via that.

Thanks ill try to do that. and no it doesn't update owner ship rights cuz it still counts as you owning it as far as i've seen.

So, that doesn't work. Since it says its already uninstalling. It wont work either way. :/ Can someone just link me to the support page for Division?

Go to Steam Support page and permanently remove the free weekend version? All progresses will be synced via uPlay I think.

Nvm guys, i was able to over ride it and my friend gave me the gift. STOP COMMENTING! (will probs close this discussion down)
