Thanks, it never occured to me to do it this way.
Another good talent for pvp is 'On the Move' so when you kill someone or even a weak npc nearby you gain another 30% (cant quite remember) damage resistance for 10 secs.
Lots of good little tricks that should become part of your pvp strategy
Thanks everyone for these tips. I'm a veteran noob but all these basically made pvp more enjoyable. (I mean it didn't turn me into a tank or anything but it made pvp combat more satisfying).
1. be the 1st one who peaks near a corner. due to in game lag / delay. the 1st dude who sees the other will start shooting faster. thats why you see people reacting slowly to the damage they take or even dying and calling others hackers.
2. this is a RPG games. stats matter and current meta favors damage over tankiness due to damage scales better than tankiness. always be aware of the meta and act according to that.
3. play according to your and your enemies strenghts. this requires awareness and game knowladge.
4.and the thing most frustrates me is people ♥♥♥♥♥ catting around and not shooting enough. every bullet counts. ive killed so many people in group fights while on half hp. i see so many people staying behind cover and waiting while a total assault is going on around them in last stand.

f you cant 1v1 win 70% of the time. considering your AIM is at par with their aiming skill . go for more damage. forget about skill haste. you dont need cooldown reduction when you are dead.
That makes sense a lot. What's the point of skill haste if you are not surviving your 1v 1. Good thinking!
I am not doing well in pvp so I going to go by your logicm. Going to focus on my hitting power until I am good.
The build I created after reading this cause 26514 damage per bullet hit. Those numbers were popping up when I tried it at the firing station. My skill haste is at 27% with 97% critical damage and 16% chance. Will try some pvp over the weekend and see.
By the way, do you like booster shot or overdose?
