Div2, question about Talents

specifically the weapon ones
i know that the talent in armor/clothing ones are always active

but the guns ?
is it active for the weapon equipped
or even my holstered gun still have effect

about to make a big decision, reassigning new talent that i like to a good gun with bad talent
help

I can't think of a single passive weapon talent. The last one I know of was on the chatterbox but that was changed ages ago.
So in the games current state in order to activate the talent the weapon must be in use.

as the man said lol. weapon talents are only active on the weapon in use they do not function if it is "holstered" or they specify that they take effect when you swap weapons.
