Can't say, what fits u best, you need to know how offensive or defensive u wanna go with this but I hope it helps a bit what i wrote :)
• 2 pieces:
+100% Ammo capacity
• 3 pieces:
+8% LMG Damage
Striker’s Battlegear
• 2 pieces:
+20% Stability
• 3 pieces:
+10% armor damage
I plan for that. Any better idea ?
Is there a cap (soft/hard) for Stability or other stat other than primary (firearm/endurance/electronics) ?
EDIT: Don't worry about capping stability - it'll stabilize as you keep shooting, tho it'll never be a laser pointer anymore. If the gun is too unstable for you, just use Smart Cover.
Hopefully they don't nerf the MG5 too much, that gun is a beast.
• M60: base damage reduced by 3%.
• M60 & M249 now take longer to reach full accuracy when fired.
• Hungry Hog: base damage reduced by 13%, to prevent a scaling overlap with the implementation of World Tier 5
If they decide to go through with that, we might need to switch to other waepons again :(
Well, I use and love my hungry hog myself and i gotta dmit, that thing is a bit op ^^ Its kinda sad , I really like that weapon but it gives other LMG's a chance again. Also we dont know how much longer it takes to reach full accuracy for the two big ones. It might be barely noticable. While I like the slow firing M60 alot, it might gives u a reason to take a look at the other LMG's again which I think is a good thing.
it also looks like a "-50% ammo capacity malus".
So are the remaining ammo at least twice better ?
Besides, you really need a perfect talent rolls on the weapons AND have them unlocked too, to really get the full AlphaBridge buff. not mentioning the 2piecs bonus is useless (works out of combat only IIRC)
TL;DR : I try to stay out of it and favor more polyvalent gear set combination. (survivability and a weapon expertise.)
Maybe a 2+2+2 could be good aswell.such as:
• Path of the Nomad - 2 pieces: +14% health on kill
• Sentry’s Call - 2 pieces: +30% Aiming Accuracy
• Striker’s Battlegear - 2 pieces: +20% Stability
Also I was looking for a Shield/Handgun gearset :
• Decisive gloves (35% headshot damage on sidearm)
Hunter’s Faith
• 2 pieces:
+20% Optimal Range
• 3 pieces:
+20% Headshot Damage
Sentry’s Call (or better ?)
• 2 pieces: +30% Aiming Accuracy
U basicly need +ammo on minors on ur vest and backpack (at very least one one of them). About the talent thing. U basicly need a really good main weapon. As secondary u can just craft urself a 168 gs ar. Cheap to craft and the requirements of the talents are much lower but it still counts for ur mainweapon, no matter what gs ur secondary has. That makes it much easier to get the talents you want.
With elite snipers u mean the yellow npc snipers i assume? They're not a problem. The AI is not very smart. U can easily take them out from a long range with an AR or simply run up on them. If u meant players, rogues, going snipers... well dont let them hit u :P
