Maybe something for a longer term goal, since bit limited in options right now.
Iv swapped out to predators mark now cos i have 4 classified pieces for it and im loving the bleed effect it adds. You know when that sneeky low health enemy takes cover and you have to wait for em to pop up again....with this they just bleed out while they hide :)
The shield can actually take a beating, though i tested it at the pier (forget what it's called cos am very tired) where the endless missions are and could just hide behind it while smg'ing the enemies down.
Now it was only tier 5 random street thugs, assuming vs tougher opponents will start to hit issues, but i can see how with higher rated gear and proper stat balancing the set could shine.
Also took a gander at the link provided and decided to try farming the Nomad set, since it looks like a good solo 'i wanna run through and loot the dz without actually fighting npcs' set, though for team oriented stuff, prolly need to find something else.
Bonus mention goes to AlphaBridge, which sounds interesting with the cycling signature but dunno how it would work in action, as it may just be one of those cool sounding gimmicks that turn out to be absolute trash when you try to take on anything tougher than thug with a baseball bat.
The D3 set is a blessing for the solo player (and, well for coop as well).
Not only can your shield take a serious beating, it also increases your damage (which you can increase even further with Ballistic Shield Damage mods performance mods), and you can even heal it with medkits if you take the Combat Medic perk.
Couple that with a high-performance SMG such as the Navy MP5 (or the House exotic if you're lucky to get one), and you'll mow down Elite mobs like they're mere annoyances.
Yep, been pretty good so far, even with moderately trashy gear.
Wanted to try out the Nomad and Reclaimer sets, but then it hits me that why would i swap D3 for Nomad when running around solo?
Reclaimer should be good for coop play at least, even if it meant hiding behind cover most of the time.
Gun wise, no real luck on that front, unfortunately but will keep an eye out for the House.
