Edit: And the microtr. do only belong to aesthetics, like clothes, textures (weapons etc.) and emotes. / Textcorrection
Edit: I got far over 2.000 hrs ingame. It can be a lot of fun, if you meet the right people, and if you like to improve your gear.
The division 1 have some quest for have certain emote, or cosmetics, on the division 2 :) in any cases the lootboxes not is really necessary and can have it during play too :)
NO, they are not pay to win. Loot boxes in this game take place in the way of skins. You earn loot box "fragments" to make keys by completing stuff in the game. You'll be drowning in fragments and eventually keys since there's so much to achieve.
The other form of microtransactions are emotes, which aren't that good and outfits, which are actually not great either.
You can earn stuff like outfits, clothing, masks, gun skins, by finding, looting, doing activities.
I feel like it's a very fair way of putting loot boxes in the game while still earning the money of the player instead of insisting for the player to spend money.
sooo i spent my money buying Gold editons of Just Cause 4 and Metro Exodus. soooo no more money xD
While i love metro, i beat those games then thats it. I decided on the gold division pack, 4 months of endless playing is more worth it... For me.... And i dont care about just cause
