Update 1.8.3 - Nerf like hell...

I like this game so much, but after watching the live-stream of the upcoming update I thought everything's nerfed to the ground. - But I still can get shot through walls in dz, or after spending countless hours of improving my several gearsets, some aimbot-dude comes around the corner and that's it. GAME OVER.

Brilliant.

Main thing the showstopper, the medstation or the striker classified gearset is costumized. Meanwhile everything, like nomad or predators mark, and now striker are nerfed! And the logic behind all of this? If Massive, Red Storm, etc. would have not started with these hard regulations, everything would be in place. But if someone cries out loud enough, something like "...it's so overpowered", the developers start with downgrade improvements.

I personally don't like striker that much in pvp, but the people where invested a lot of time in perfecting their gear, can't be satisfied about that. And besides, playing striker gearset needs some skills. So, it's hard enough to work with that gear.

Generally, I embrace improvements, even if they reduce some strenght, but this time it is too much good intensions.

The Division was something like perfect, maybe too perfect for some people...

- Personnal update: To be fair. I'm really not satisfied, that in dz you can cheat like stupid and that you can continue with it and there are no countermeasures from the official side of The Division, but update 1.8.3, incl. his downgrades I talked about are not that bad. I just tested showstopper, medstation and striker classified gearset in dz. - I can live with that. Virtually.

About expert yes the m4 is op.This is the fact you ignore the fact with no sense excuses.

Oh man, look at all of the videos of people using weapons other than the M4 successfully in pvp. Its almost as if the M4 is not the only good pvp weapon in the game and you are lying about your experts.

For now i not have crash on startup(only in rare case but can happen with old patch too).But this thread talking about the nerf on striker not about the crash.My tips is a open a new thread for it :) or the people, who have same problem, not look into this thread.

I understand why something like that was nerfed to only single shot weapons. The problem was they nerfed it again to only 15% damage making it terrible. Sets like fire crest, sentry call, banshee (prev blind) final measure, are either niche or sub par which is why strikers, predator, lonestar are used over them, and nerfing those doesnt make players want to use the un-used sets because they are still bad.

So buffing the unused sets would improve gameplay as it would more diversify what sets players use.

They arnt scrubs because I disagree with them, they are scrubs because they are blaming the wrong sets for their lose. Ubi can nerf striker into the ground untill its unusable, but their firecrest is still going to be trash and they are still going to fail using it.

Right so buff those builds instead of buffing every single build in the game. Striker was king of PVP. End of story. Only very specific builds could actually take down a smart striker user in a good way. Predator has seen less use since it's nerf and I don't see lone star too often in the DZ.


I doubt the people running firecrest in PVP are the one's complaining about pvp.

Well, everyone is complaining about bullet sponges and chicken dancing untill they get killed in the same time as COD and all of a sudden, lots of damage is bad. Buffing all of the sets to the level of the top means that all sets will perform relatively the same. Nerfing the top sets to the lower just means everything sucks equally.
