what's the purpose of DZ (Dark Zone)? Someone knows about DZ Funds?

hi, i'm lvl 12 in normal game. 1. I have played DZ, and i'm now level 8 in DZ, and killed maybee 20-40 AI NPC Bots, and have $0 DZ Funds, how to get those funds? 2. Also I have extract a fews items, but, in the ends, they are worst than normal game items, that I can get from normal games sectors, and I cannot even sell them for DZ Funds? 3. What is the purpose of the DZ Ranking, is it giving to my character, more Health, Firepower, and Electronics? Or is it's only purpose, the level of the ennemies that I will encounters? Because, for now the ennemy I encounters are already really strong, and there are a bunch of them at the same times? :)

You really should get to level 30 once there you will need geaar score which you get easily from the dz but really you want to be in 256+ bracket in there you wil need to farm for classified gear after you get good gear you can do pvp and start to do legendary missions and incursions which if you complete give you an exotic cache

How the DZ bracket work ? Is there some kind of safe heaven where you can progress without being stolen and murdered ? I tryed 1st zone and got mugged (WT 5 and I-lvl 264)

Think it says when you scroll over it on the map what bracket your in. And no you can't get a private version so your always at risk of being mugged that's the point of the DZ.

Anyway TC i'm also low level, and ran around the DZ some for fun mostly, and I agree there isn't much reward for low level players. Not even regular xp. Might as well just level to 30 outside then go back.

I play SP only, That means DZ is a hellstorm for me. I have tried many many times to use the extraction (The only way to get the loot you got in DZ) and have been killed by a group of guys every single time but once. DZ was not meant for us SP players. It trully works against us in everyway. Even missions. I stopped going as it stresses me out to much to do all that work just to die at the end of it and walk away with nothing.

to make the game easier, what help as much as having, good gear and weapons. Is to understand well the talent and skill and the modding, and choose the best with your play style, for the perks you have them all anyway. For me the Turrets and the healing kit(the one that we get at level 12, I think, the one that we can recover life with it instead of bleeding out, work very well for me. As soon as I arrive close to ennemy, I go to cover, throw the turret, and go further from the ennemy to get a better cover from ennemies, and let the turrets do the job. while shooting at them too. It normally work pretty well to defeat ennemies. Also choose mods that will increase the turrets and health station stats. :)

2high2tell, also the turret have no cool down I think, that mean as soon that it blows, you can throw another one. And like they say in Borderland, having a turrets, is like having an extra man on the field. But for the health station there is a cool down of 1 minute I think, before you can throw another one. Learn to use the Turrets and health Station, and it is possible to take any group a little bit higher level than you and less, with a normal difficulty, :)

1. Killing some DZ Bosses/Enemies but mosly opening caches after extracting them.

2. Once you are level 30 can get "set items". But if you are not a set collector and you are only interested in some in particular most of the items are garbage. Some times you can get Exotic weapons too thats pretty nice.

3. In "THEORY" prevent the players getting abused by high-level players. But you are right too, determines the level of NPCS. They are strong, yeah. But once you level up and get a good set you can kill them easily.

No the devs force you to get slaughtered... just don't ever go in there, it is the worst this game has to offer.

I just hope in D2 they let you solo stuff like the DZ or Survival

DZ funds are pointless honestly except for the commendation... the garbage the DZ vendors carry is the same as all the others, nothing special there... It would be nice if you could sell stuff to the DZ vendors for DZ bucks.. but sadly you can not.

hi, thanks for the infos, but it's like no one understand my questions. I killed around 40 AI NPC'S in dark zone, and also, extract some items in dark zone. And I'm now lvl 13 in normal game, and lvl 8 in dark zone. But I still have 0 dark zone funds. Where are my funds for playing dark zone? Or how do we get dark zone funds, if killing npc's give none? :)
