Becides, the loot drop changes would not have affected the GE caches anyways, the rates were never going to be changed for them because they are overhauling the reward system in the next patch aswell as rolling all of the GE's including two new ones, by month again.
The problem is the people who complain about the game will never be happy with it no matter what changes and will always continue to complain. =/
I love people like you who treat "complaining" by paying customers, gamers, like it's some kind of bad thing, like no one should ever say any negative thing about a product that they paid for because that's bad. You should never voice your displeasure with a product otherwise they overpaid devs might have their feelings broken when the reality of their pieced together product is brought to their attention. What do they say? Blame the victim? Must be a golden rule for you.
That's how it goes.
When I read the interview with Ubisofts President/ CEO where he says he sees no problem with charging money for loot boxes and then add that to the deliberate low rng I can easily see the option to buy guaranteed classified loot boxes (rather than earn them as others do for free) for the casual player. Some do not want top spend that much time because they may only have a few hours a week. For them to pay 20 to 50 dollars extra to gamble on loot boxes may be part of the DIvision 2 design. Free money for Ubisoft just for raising the rng and offering the easy way out for the time sensitive players. I would bet this would happen months after release, after they have your money and you have invested yourself in the game. Time will tell.
Paid loot boxes, it's all the rage.
I like the game. I dont particularly like the grind. it is not until you have a reasonably sorted out classified set that you can really enjoy the Dark zone and stand a chance of any success. Should it cost money to enjoy the game you paid for? The players of Star Wars and Destiny dont think so. Ubisoft now publicly says yes.

Recycled every single one of those for Div Tech.
Edit: I forgot that one cosmetic cache

>Complains that RNG and luck wasn't in their favor
There's a thread like this EVERY event, it happens to us all. Ya got bad luck and RNGesus didn't bless you, that's all. It's like going to a casino and complaining to the casino that you lost all your money because of bad luck. It's nobody's fault but yours. Just keep trying and the RANDOM number generator might work in your favor.
Fee 2 Pay is something entirely different. Your theory doesn't hold any water though, since your playing doesn't equal in you spending more money. Remember, you cannot buy the caches with IRL money.

And again still NO classified yet, what is the point of these events if the entire purpose behind them fails? I mean raw percentage wise, 1 classified out of 8 total “Superior” caches so far is 12%, as I recall the supposed percentage of classified and exotics were somewhere around 25%-35% give or take, exotic was around what maybe 15-20%? That 25-30% is supposed to be PER cache yet looking at my numbers opened versus what I’ve actually received that number is totally false.
Still trying to get my last piece of Lonestar, seems to be a very common issue within the loot for this “game” as in you’ll always be missing 1 piece almost like it’s made that way.
My point is that these Global Events are advertized by the developers as a way to get classified gear more frequently and more reliably then you'd normally find in the main game. So far I have proven that this is not even remotely the case and I see it as a significant problem. Percentages and numbers shouldn't differ from player to player so no it's not a matter of "you just got unlucky" not if they can program a simple algorithm properly. Sorry but numbers are the basics of programming so making corrections to their loot drop numbers should not be a huge issue and easily fixable.
