Legendary Missions w/ Solo

I'm slowly but surely getting better at this game and can do Challenging missions pretty easily now-- but I'm wondering if it just takes more time to work my way to Legendary missions or if they're intended for co-op only? I got slaughtered on my first few attempts at challenging, so I'm more than happy do the same and work my way up to legendary if that's what it takes.

Well, the entire game is intended for co-op, its specifically set up for that, but its still possible to solo. Though dont expect ever set or build to be able to.

you can run all legendaries mission solo for sure, i mean, Warren gate, Power Relay and Napalm. you also can run 2 of 4 incursion in heroic mode solo if you have enough skill. you can run Falcon Lost and Clear Sky ( last one is harder), but imo you cannot finish Dragon's Nest and
Stolen Signal alone.

Good stuff! This gives me something to grind towards and to still know it's possible. I really like the way this game keeps me challenged.

I have seen players did Legendary mission alone not me but you can't do all 4 incursions all alone. On stolen signal you must need 2 players for hostage rescue otherwise you cant complete mission and on Clear sky you need 2-3 players minimum for carry fuse box with another healer to heal you constantly and on falcon lost you need 2 guys for switiching turrent OFF for planting bomb and on Dragon nest you need 2 players to switch at same time to drop fuel tank to complete mission

Falcon lost is actually the easiest incursion solo imo. Throw a station while deactivating 1 turret and they won’t bug you while you plant the c4.

Dragons nest is impossible because of the 2 switches, clear sky is just really hard solo but doable (especially with nomad classified) and until very recently, I thought stolen signal was impossible solo but someone on these forums posted a video of them (or someone) doing it solo. Incredibly difficult but possible.

Incursions are definitely not intended to be played solo but,except for one, they are possible.

wowzers. this is the first video of gameplay I've watched of someone else. I've got a lot to work towards.

Yeah as can be seen in the vid, it need a lot of good gear and switching for it to work but it's possible.

that's awesome. i think i need to keep grinding much more before i can get the gear good enough to do anything like this.. but if i know it's possible, it's worth working towards. so far, i've got a kind of hybrid striker/nomad setup with the ninja backpack... it's about as good as i can seem to get for now.

what i really need to do is watch more of those videos... i think i can get a little stuck in my habits and watching gameplay might help me break out of them. i need to read/participate more in the forums, too... too much info for one person to gain just by experience. thanks, man!

Farm pier93 for example, there are enough vids out there where u can see how to farm there ;)

You can solo most missions depending on your character. Remember that there are builds out there specificly designed for Solo players that can give you a good survivability rate if you are not into co-oping. I am running a Alphabridge/Striker build to keep me going, with a added Reclaimer thanks to the Ninja bag that lets me get some boosts without having to deal with a whle set.

This set lets me do most challenging and legendary runs in solo mode, but Heroic stuff I'd prefer with a team.

Dragon's Nest has two buttons you need to push at the same time to move the tank forward. Can't solo.

Stolen Signal for the last boss needs at least 2 players with shield to prevent hostage deaths, and you need one with shield to not die using the fireworks. Can't solo, but you can 2-men it with a dedicated D3 and one with DPS/Healer and some shield mods (a friend of mine and I did it that way.)
