Proficiency Caches. Stash-Up for GS256+ or Open?
Hi Guys,

Just hit level 30 last night. Really enjoyed the main storyline and it was Amazing how I didn't have to repeat grind anything other than just follow the main Story Quests with Side Missions and Encounters just to get a fast 30. :)

There is still SO MUCH more to play. Love it! :D

Now, each time I level up I keep getting Proficiency Caches. So...

Few questions I'd like to ask.

1. Will these keep coming as I level up or is there a point where they will stop?

2. Should I save them up without opening until I slowly gear up to reach World Tier 5 (GS256+) or should I open them now?

3. When I'm at a Gear Score of 256+, will opening these caches give me gear of the same level or are they locked to the level I got the cache at?

4. What's the best thing to do with the High-End stuff you get from caches and drops? Sell to Vendor for $$$ or Dismantle for Mats?

Soon as I hit 30 there was a Supply drop. And I just got ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ face rolled by the LMB. Lol Any tips on what I should do next for gear? World Tier Missions, Incursions, Underground, Etc.

Thanks in Advance for your replies and help. :)

Cheers 'n Enjoy The Weekend Boys 'n Girls.

1- They will keep coming.

2- You should probably just open them now since getting a classified from those is really rare and you can reach WT5 a lot quicker if you just opened them.

3-I actually dont know since i just instantly opened them.

4-You should probably dismantle them because once you have a decent build you will have to optimaze it or craft the same guns 30times to get a godroll talents&damage on the said gun, if you sell them now sure you will get the credits but you dont really use the credits a lot. Farming those mats will be a pain in the ass later on but ofc thats my opinion both decisions are valid.

EDIT:i have 3-4 full classified sets and im on the look for godroll weapons, let me tell you i almost only use the credits to buy gear caches so i can dismantle the pieces and get phoenix credits.

You should do your daily missions, you can try DZ, if you decide to open those caches you should go look for phone recordings echos etc.(just go on your map and click "intel" they give 100kexp each you can get a cache every 4phone recording so you can get to WT5 fairly fast.

Hey Thanks Mate. That was extremely helpful and very informative. Appreciate you taking the time to explain all that. :)

Took your advice and opened around 10 of them I had stacked up. And I couldn't agree more. Was way easier to get something to gear up and improve my GS a little bit more than hunting for those at vendors and drops.

I might save 1 crate. Just to see what happens when I open it at WT5. :D

I took your advice on dismantling. But at the same time, when I need a little bit of cash to buy something 'good' off a vendor I kinda sell. Noticed that weapons sell much higher than armor pieces.

Just did a Last Stand PvP since Benitaz sent me on a mission for it. Was thinking Last Stand was Co-Op PvE but was I wrong. Was put in the middle of 2 teams with high PvP ranked players. Was a close fight but our team lost by 500 points.

I think in Last Stand, Gear is Normalized yeah? Otherwise I would've totally got insta-gibbed. Lol

Btw, The Gear/Weapon Caches are at the Special Vendor at Terminal yeah? Do you buy only Gear Caches or Weps too?

Aye. I noticed you get a butt-ton of XP for intel gathering. I wish I knew this before. Would have kept all my intel for until after I hit 30. Who knew! :D

Again, Thanks Mate. For all the helpful info. Cheers.

Proficiency caches are the best way to get from world tier 1 to tier 5. When I reached level 30, I found out that going around collecting phone, intel, lost agent, and ECHO's to give me XP to get proficiency caches was a very good and fast way to move tiers.

I reached from tier 1 to tier 5 in a single day doing this.

Couldn't have agreed more CherryTaco. :) Wish I had known earlier. I had already completed a lot of the Intel Gathering before 30. :( Still have a lot remaining tho. So I guess I'm not all lost. Long as I get to WT5 yeah? :D

Just got 2 Gear Set Items from Prof. Caches. :D

Predator's Mark Backpack & Tactician's Authority Pack. Don't even know what to do with them. :D

Equip or save for later to use with rest of same set? Cause the Stats are kinda disabling my weapon talents.

I think Predator is the go-to gear set atm yeah? Or was it Striker? Mainly focused on PvE atm.

WT5 is actually a fast progress than going from level 28 to level 30, let me tell you that just playing with a tier 5 player in tier 5 world in 5 min could get you a random tier 5 full equipment (again, random) but enough to you to start on tier 5 alone and start farming

if you need help getting tier 5 just add my uplay christiansw

i'll always do boosting but tier1 just to tier5, i hate powerleveling ppls that in reality making alts, so we had to powerlevel him thrice just to level alt :(

i'll boost you quick then you can open those for random loots, classified rare and yet, chance getting classified/exotic from those caches is only 3%
