Any Benefit to Survival?

Don't see many people playing survival. Why is that? It seems fun. Are the rewards terrible? Or bad matchmaking?

it only pays off if you have a good team. Dark zone and underground are easier and drops the same gear.

What are you talking about? The mode is trash, the rewards vs time invested makes it pointless.

The only reason ppl going there to get the achievement "You hunt me, i hunt you" and get the stygian hunter mask

It's a lot of fun but not very gear rewarding. As a result a lot of the folks running it are people who don't have anything else front and center. I'm just adding armor at this point when I optimize so survival is fun for me, but if you're trying to get geared it's not great.

Survival loot are not good overall. It´s a nice game mode to play solo or group, there are lot of commendation points available there, but you need spend at least 40/50 min for each run, no respawn, so, thats sucks.

i has 3700 hours solo, survival is most reward instrument, if you cant use it in right way -> your problem. underground is boring sameless trash. all who's praying about underground is shady teamplays who's staying aside of problem, that cant solved by themself. and i not interested in your personal answer if you not have enough hours.

Matchmaking is basically non working across the entire game, use gamefinder instead of matchmaking itself, you will get survival games very fast. Benefits? Loot can be generous if you manage to finish a game, other than that, having fun on your own, even better with friends.

Survival is pretty easy, I solo both PvE and PvP. Aside from better players than myself, I usually can take on anything. It's surprisingly balanced as well imho as Talents and skills dont play a *huge* roll into the mode.

But! Survival loot is honestly not that impressive (Coming from extracting full 6/6 Survival caches from landmark bosses)

You're there for the experience. Which is undoubtedly better than Underground honestly in terms of Fun and Engaging gameplay.

Excuse me? I had plenty of fun doing countless of matches to get it.. And also... Why would i invest time in survival if there is no reward? The mask was literally the only reward that made it worth doing... The caches drop useless items anyway.... Mindlessly farming for a item you want? Hmmmm... Hmmmm.. I wonder why that is a part of RPG based games hmmm.... But hey, have fun in survival for useless items then...

Got over 200 runs in it and extract with 6 survival caches every time in under 50 minutes. Nice try noob.

I like it, it is a different way to play in this game world that is unique to all the others. It could be its own game and I would find it fun.

Survival mode is very fun and interesting. But most people wanna farm and grind, not play. They want "rewards" for playing, lol.
