What's up with the pricing on this game?

On consoles it's priced at £14.99 (currently £11.24 on sale) - appropriate for a 3 year old game which now has had sequel released. On the PC the price is a whopping £41.99 ie nearly 300% what it is on other platforms.

Is there some reason for the PC version costing so much more than the console versions?

I bought it for either 5 or 10€ (cant remember exactly but it was super cheap). You just need to wait for a promotion. When its on sale, its a big discount.

Well I will consider getting it when/ if a sale comes up (though who knows when that will be). However the point remains that the PC price is more than double the normal price on other platforms (including on the Ubisoft store).

The normal price just wasnt updated like on the Ubi store or consoles. But when in promotion, they are about the same price. And this is when you are looking to buy it, when on promotion. So dont worry about the normal pricing. You arent buying at that value anyway.

Since January 2019, the game has been discounted 5 times. 2 times in January, February, end March, July. Jan - 12.49€/7.49€, Feb - 4.99€, Mar - 12.49€, Jul - 12.49€. Dont know your currency but this is Euro prices. Each big DLC has also been discounted at about 3.74€ each if I'm not mistaken.

This game and Div 2, are to me, great games (not perfect but provide good entertainment). Hope you get the game sometime!

it's pricing on steam is awful, but luv da game.
every once in a while it goes on sale on uplay for less than $15.00 USD

Thanks for that info. Might pick it up if I am still interested by the time the next sale comes up (and assuming I happen to be on Steam at the time).
